Katie Skinner is a 20 year old singer and producer studying a degree at Leeds College of Music. 

Katie comes from a completely non musical family and was never sure where her affinity to music came from. Training as a classical musician at the Royal Northern College of Music playing Flute, recorders and piano, Katie was always involved in music achieving a very high level, even playing in the National Youth Wind Ensemble of Great Britain. Katie always sang and wrote songs on the side as a hobby and as a way to enjoy and express herself, however this soon developed into more than a hobby and she decided to apply herself more to it. After receiving acclaim and radio play for her songs, flash forward a couple of years and Katie has studied at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, and Leeds College of Music surrounded by many other talented musicians. She is part of a function band and also has recently started up a band in which to play her own compositions! Look out for her gigs and performances around yorkshire and the country.

Few DJs and producers can claim as much diversity as Nick Riley and Andi Durrant… Best known as 2 of the UK’s favourite and musically diverse DJs, defying genres and resisting the usual rules of electronic music. They are producers, players and presenters, reaching over half a million people a week on their massively popular radio shows and pulling in crowds of thousands to their events and parties. 

Playing and making a concoction of house, techno, electro, progressive and melodic, their tracks are being supported by a wide cross section of DJs – from underground legends Laurent Garnier and Sander Klienenberg to trance superstars Armin and Tiesto, to house hero’s like Pete Tong and the Swedish House Mafia. 

Between them they present 2 of the Galaxy Networks flagship specialist dance programs, including Andi Durant’s Saturday Warmup (now the biggest and most listened to Saturday radio show in the UK) and their cutting-edge Friday night showcase for the underground, unsigned and unheard. This year Andi was also awarded his 3rd prestigious Sony Award, joining the ranks of previous winners Zane Lowe and Colin Murray as Music Broadcaster of the Year.

In 2009 the boys were asked to return to their weekly residency at the worlds biggest club to warm up for Tiesto every Monday night at Privilege Ibiza. Alongside providing the alternative sound to the Music Box, Riley & Durrant rocked the legendary main room for 2 hours each week, and played to over 100,000 people over the course of the summer, at the busiest club night on planet earth. 

After making their debut into the prestigious DJ Mag Top 150 in 2008, they were also voted as Britain’s No. 6 in the Datatransmission UK DJ Poll, alongside Errol Alkin, Sasha, Digweed and James Zabeila. 

As co-owners and promoters of the massive Electrik Playground club nights, Riley & Durrant have been touring across Europe with a regular party at the infamous Ministry of Sound in London, Privilege Ibiza and one off events at clubs and arenas around the UK. No strangers to some of the world’s biggest parties and festivals, Riley & Durrant have rocked the main stages of Creamfields, Gatecrashers Summer Sound System, Godskitchen’s Global Gathering and Fort Dance in St Petersberg, alongside arenas and stadiums across the UK, Russia, Asia and America. 

Skinner is an artist from Leeds, creating a range of electronic music with pop/r'n'b/hip-hop/soul influences topping them off with her powerful and potent voice. 
BBC Introducing presenter Jericho Keys describes her sound as 'Sassy, soulful and sexy'. Her songs are regularly, broadcast on stations including BBC Radio 1, BBC 1XTRA BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio York and more. 
Skinner has also received support from the likes of Huw Stephens on Radio 1 and recently was named BBC Introducing Artist of the week on BBC Radio 1XTRA where her music was played everyday on the station. 
Skinner has also had a string of successful live appearances across the UK including her performances at both the legendary Leeds and Reading Festivals.
