Triggered by close proximity and a passion for all things auditory, the formation of Alert New London was inevitable. Members quickly formed a brotherhood based around challenging each other to greater musical heights, and over time found their niche in melding diverse influences into one cohesive wall of atmosphere and noise.
Using heavily effected guitars, tight vocal harmonies, powerful drumbeats, and a live show celebrating youth and vivacity, Alert New London has set a path towards providing a new expression in its Columbus, Ohio hometown and beyond.
Alert New London self-released their first full length album Youth in 2011 to rave reviews. The album sold over 1000 physical copies and its first single Silverdrive streamed over 1500 times in its first week. Following the success of Youth, Alert New London  has headlined Newport Music Hall to a crowd of over 800, as well as performed with acts such as Reptar (Vagrant Records),  Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos (Epic Records), and The Limousines (Dangerbird Records).
Their creative impulses never at rest, Alert New London considers their unreleased demo to be a soundtrack for dreams. The songs were written, recorded, and mixed in house by the band, and mastered by Brian Lucey of Magic Garden Mastering (The Black Keys, The Shins, Sigur Ros)."
