oH MY Good GoD! What the F just happened!

My heart's about to break.
The ground begins to shake beneath me.
I know we're losing time I always seemed to take for granted.
And although I've disappointed you I promise that I'll always make it through somehow.
I'm a fighter just like you; and all the things you taught me still will hold.
I'm sure there's more coming after.
But now's never long enough to breathe. 

I'm sadness mixed with gratitude jealous that you get to see the stars.
I remember seeing Jupiter the first time through the telescope that's ours.
Someday my son will ask of you I swear that I'll be sure to let him know.
You're the greatest man I've known; the most beautiful of souls that walked this world.
You're too beautiful for this world. 

As winter turns to spring. 
I can't speak but I can sing.
I just want to let you know.  That I'm proud that I could know you.
And I will always remember. And love you so.

Please don't be scared for us as we're not scared for you right now.
You taught me years ago fear only goes as far as you allow.
It was 5th grade kids were bullying and you taught me to stand up for myself.
Now I stand up for everyone and use my songs to help them through the times that they need strength.
I'm strong because you made me.
