Ceres Lament

I love an infectious beat and that is what was driving this track to me from the start. I also wanted to get more creative and scrapped a few samples I used initially, and instead made the sounds myself, for example the kick and bass and keys. I went a bit experimental with the vocal effects as I loved playing with them and using my vocals like another instrument.  

Many thanks to @mortenjeamland for mixing and mastering the track to a professional level.

It was composed by Roberto B on 22 September 2024 in MAGIX (initial composition, recording, arrangement and mix), Alex M on 5 January 2025 in Logic Pro using GarageBand iOS touch-screen input (subsequent composition, recording, arrangement and mix), and Roberto B on 6 January 2025 in MAGIX (final composition, integration of the voice sample from MAGIX - with our thanks, additions, arrangements, recording and mix), and released here on SoundCloud this morning (in Europe), 10 January 2025.
