We made this tape over the course of a few days in June 2022, using the MPC One -> MPC 2000 -> SP 303 -> Tascam Portastudio. We used the MPC One as a sample library and then recorded onto the 2000, structuring everything within the sampler. For each track, we recorded the beat into the 303, using the master output of the 2000 to manually fade the bumps into various banks. At the end of 3mitsu's stay, we arranged the track selection on the 303 and recorded the final onto the Tascam Portastudio.

I first met Callum (3mitsu) at the end of August 2021 after we had spoken online for about a year, thanks to a mutual friend who heard Callum talk about lofi hiphop and connected us. 

Since then, I've been proud to call him one of my closest friends, and have learnt alot from him during that time. This is our favourite piece of music that we've made together.

At the end of the month, he will be leaving the UK to live in Japan. I wanted to upload this tape as a goodbye, thanks, and celebration of our friendship and the many great friends I've met through him. Much love, bro! <3

A bonus of three tracks we made in early 2023 with the same setup, except for the Tascam, will be uploaded to his Bandcamp soon.
