BackStory with the American History Guys is a nationally syndicated, hour-long, weekly public radio show. We're based in Charlottesville, Virginia at the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities.

Each week we take a topic that people are talking about and explore its roots in American history. Through stories, interviews, and conversation with our listeners, we turn the things Americans take for granted inside out. And while we're at it, we have a lot of fun. Join us.

My brothers and I make up our not so official band.  Matt, my oldest brother is the Bass Player and Co-Songwriter, Brandon is my guitar player. My family is a strong unit, I love more than anything that we all perform together.  All 3 of us are Barista's at Starbucks which allows for time to write, and perform music. And, drink coffee. #ToBeAPartner

My songs are Eclectic. I’ve noticed that some of my songs are influenced by my favorite artists but I also have my own sound. I do love collaborating with other artists to make beats.

I am so lucky and blessed with so many people in my life who support me. The opportunities I've had are priceless! I wouldn't trade any of them for the world (good or bad). I have truly met some people along the way. I hope that I can just keep doing what I enjoy most (singing & writing) and keep finding people to work with that share my passion.

Life is changing so much for me. I'm finally realizing that the correct path isn't always the one right in front of you, and sometimes you will have to go make your own.
