With influences in funk, urban pop and reggae, ‘Ordinary You’ is a development of Seb’s diverse musical style, first explored in his debut EP ‘Human,’ out earlier this year. The EP opens with the addictive lead single, 'Stand,' armed with punchy drums and a heavy bass line – a standout track, “laced with menace and hope in equal measure,” says Seb.  “It’s about self-belief, with strength of spirit at its core.” 

Beyond ‘Stand,’ tracks like 'With Me,' showcase Seb’s talents as a song writer, with its emotional and honest lyrics. And don’t miss the rock-tinged ‘Out’ and title track ‘Ordinary You.’ 

Born in London to an artistic Trinidadian/English family (Seb’s roots are Trinidadian, English, Indian, Chinese and Irish), Seb was raised around music. His mother and uncle formed the duo Mac & Katie Kissoon, while his father was in the duo R&J Stone. After the duo his mother went on to record and tour/perform with the likes of Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Roger Waters, Robbie Williams, George Michael and Jamiroquai. Other member's of his family include his Uncle, actor Jeffery Kissoon and step-brother Rhashan Stone (Episodes, Outnumbered, Desmond’s)

Seb engineers and produces all of his music out of his studio in his hometown Ealing, West London, playing all drums, percussion, guitar, bass, and piano, on top of his song writing and vocal work. Entirely self taught, Seb also works as a producer for other unsigned artists out of SKP Studios in West London. He's also worked as a session vocalist for Guy Chambers, with whom he recorded backing vocals on tracks by the likes of James Morrison and Leona Lewis. 

With influences ranging from Ben Harper, Jamiroquai, Sly & the Family Stone, Stephen Simmonds, T-Rex and Tom Petty, Seb has his sights set high on a collaboration with Rick Rubin or producer Danger Mouse.

Seb is currently finalising plans for a UK tour in the New Year with a 7-piece band, whilst also putting the finishing touches to his debut album, which will be released next summer.  

The EP Promo also comes with 4 bonus tracks, taken from Seb’s first EP, Human.

Bring It Back

DJ Ama is a Drum & Bass DJ from Hertfordshire, who began her musical journey in 2008 producing IDM and electronic/instrumental music under her alias 'Amally Music'. In 2009, she began working remotely with a production company in Germany producing film scores for documentaries. Amally Music began mixing vinyl in 2010, using Hip-Hop instrumentals purchased from charity and record shops before progressing to Serato. In 2011 she moved to Bournemouth where musically, everything changed for her - she found her love for Drum & Bass and never looked back. 

She started by performing at small local events and venues in Bournemouth, making a name for herself within the local scene. In 2017, she got her first festival booking on the Ballroom Stage at Outlook Festival. Ama's first international gig was in Pretoria, South Africa in 2018. After a busy year, she was invited back to perform at Outlook Festival again, this time on the Garden Stage for Spearhead Records and the Warning x Bladerunnaz boat party alongside DJ Rap and Kenny Ken. 

2019 saw Ama spread her wings to North America, where she played in San Diego and Toronto before coming home to smash the Mr Whompy Stage with the House of Hi-Fi girls at Boomtown Fair. A guest appearance from Inja on her set b2b Kyro caused a video of her dropping Benny L's Vanta Black to go viral across social media, with over 100k views and features from DnB Allstars and Inja's Facebook page. 2019 also saw Ama play in Mallorca and become a resident DJ for Bournemouth's only female run Drum and Bass brand, House of Hi-Fi. Ama has found herself performing regularly at Enter & Drumfunk for established artists such as Kings of the Rollers and being booked to warm up for The Prototypes & IC3, TNA and Pola & Bryson. 

Ama has recorded several mixes in 2019, including a guest appearance for Rupture's EQ50 which was set up to empower under-represented artists in Drum and Bass. Ama was honourably included in DJ Flight's Black History Month series, which highlighted reputable black women involved in the dance music scene. Ama ended 2019 with a chaotic Drum & Bass performance for the Red Bull Open House, playing to a packed out room alongside AC13 and Royal T. 

Expect a lot more from one of the hottest new girls in the Drum & Bass scene.

AMA Isolation Mix #23

Music, Rhythm, Melody & Harmony are integral aspects of what it means to be human, we are so connected to them all.

Hey, my name is Seb Stone. Kaysien is my artistic vehicle of self expression. I'm a London based mixed race (Black IndoCarribean/White British) Independent Artist/Producer/Musician who has recently completed a 10 part journey told in music/song & illustration. Genre hopping with meaningful lyrics, groove is central to my work.

 I play a selection of instruments (on which I am self taught) with my mains being Bass, Piano, Drums & Guitar. I Produce and Mix (again self taught) out of my studio in West London. I've sung backing vocals for acclaimed Producer Guy Chambers and more recently engineered vocals for the new Gerry Rafferty album 'Rest in Blue'. I'm also an entrepreneur having run a moderate recording business which was focused on developing emerging artists.

​I'm now working on a new music project which is very much a follow up to the recent 10 part journey. My next track is out on the 28th of Feb. As a music purist I capture my takes live to better transfer my creative energies from my instruments to my audience which has been growing steadily during this journey.  

​As a solo artist I have been lucky to have been approached & secured ongoing support from DJ's on local/community radio stations in the UK which include Soho Radio, Phoenix FM, Hope Radio Birmingham & BBC Lincolnshire. 

 I am now actively seeking support from other national and community radio stations.
