Richmond artist Kaywan explains a love story with a meaning that goes deeper than the surface in his most recent project “Heart in the Left Place”. He uses his authentic voice and soul to captivate the audience. True in the meaning, our hearts are in the “left” place but as we journey through life chasing love, we often wonder if we make the right decisions.

Kaywan expresses versatile style with the use of his melodic voice as he ranges from soprano to baritone which showcases his limitless skills and talent. Each track possesses a different quality and represents phases of an everyday love story. The journey starts with “Where You Been Freestyle” which talks about a lost soul who travels to the clouds to balance out the lows when things in love and life don’t make sense. Then we travel through the phases as we visit songs such as “Drop It” , “All In” , “Hypnotizin” , and “Company”. Through the lyrics we discover how love can take us from pure bliss to confusion.

We then end the story with ‘What’s Real, If You Love Me’. The song itself is self explanatory but we can emphasize on the bigger picture in how actions are more important than anything when it comes to love. So be about your actions and show some love💙
