Being an underground artist in Regina,SK, for the past ten years has allowed KayWillee to witness the rise and fall of many great artists/movements within the rap game weather it be in mainstream or the local scene. It allows him clarity when knowing which direction to take his brand 'Stoniez' in. While he hadn't officially started Rollin' Stoned Ent until 2011, his rhyme book and passion for hip-hop was never short of abundant and fruitful from an early age. At the age of 14, freestyling and writing to Eminem instrumentals were the only outlets before he became interested in recording. He was previously known as 'Jughead' for a short while,only releasing a handful of tracks in 2008, before he changed it to a more fitting monicker in 2010. After linking up with fellow Regina artist, LazLo, and co-finding RSE together, they've been steadily building their empire with a strong foundation in Regina by releasing music regularly and performing as well, with numerous projects such as KayWillee's 'The Chase' trilogy.
