This is the title track of my EP Oceans.

The soft harp sounds and the chords were my first ideas for this melodious chill out track. As the track progresses more emotions and feelings are shown with the addition of my own violin playing. The rich bass and string work adds to the ocean waves as they float along in tranquility.

Exostate, the duo consisting of producer Bissen and singer/songwriter Jeza, who are both known across the Enhanced labels, present their massive collaborative DS-R debut package - 'Cruel'.

Hard-hitting drums and a sub-heavy bass provide the backbone of this club track, whilst complimentary melodies and masterful FX lead to angelic vocals that transport you to Exostate's own sonic landscape.

Matt Bukovski cranks up the intensity another notch with his remix, as pulsating bass-lines and ethereal synthesizers lift the track into a true banging Trance anthem. Whilst Diversion supplies his signature fusion of deep & progressive sounds showing 'Cruel' in a new light with warm sonic elements and a relentless bounce, Monoverse's well-defined bass creates a distinctive groove, introducing an airy lead and unique percussion which brings the American's remix to life.

Yet another incredible outing from Exostate with the release of 'Cruel', including a range of versions to suit every taste.

It's hard to believe that it will be exactly two years ago since we launched our beloved label. It really has flown by in the blink of an eye. And so, to mark the occasion of 24 successful months in business, we bring you release number 24. You could call it OCD behaviour but we like to think of it as symmetry ;-)

Step forward Mr Jaap Ligthart, a Dutchman who has been on our radar for some time now with a number of fantastic edits and reworkings but is now making the natural transition into original productions. Together with Ms. Alice Rose, a vocalist who's pass credits include guesting on tracks for the likes of Gabriel Ananda and Eagles & Butterflies, they've created something rather special. 

‘I Know Change’ is a sensuous piece of work. Deep House in the very real sense of the phrase. 
And that is something that our remixers on this project have truly understood. Both Him Self Her and Show-B have delivered exquisite interpretations that give the whole package an overriding sense of class and quality. 

Him Self Her keep things deep and moody with a restrained, atmospheric, sophisticated piece of work, whilst Show-B heads into slightly tougher territory encapsulated by some distinctive rollercoaster percussion effects that have already seen Ame, Dixon, Sasha, Mano Le Tough & Adratique showing their support. And if all that wasn’t enough, they both deliver vocal free dubs too! 

So then, just to recap, it’s hotter than Megan Fox in Agent Provocateur and cooler than a Polar Bear’s toenails. What’s not to like?

One of the most eagerly anticipated electronic albums of 2012 is finally released! After a series of groundbreaking singles: Pain In the Ass, Im Week and Ghetto Kraviz (featured here) Muscovite Nina Kraviz is set to release her eponymously titled debut artist album on Radio Slaves superb Rekids imprint. Ninas album is a combination of stripped-bare house, deepest Detroit sounds via beautifully ambient pockets and more soul infused slo-mo jams, all coated with an authentic analogue finish and Nina exquisite vocals. The music is emotive and engaging, whilst being something truly original and inspirational. The album features collaborations with Hard Ton and King Aus. Playing out like a full artistic statement rather than just a collection of tracks, the odd time signatures, innocent and waify vocals, muted acid lines and hypnotic loops layered up by Nina all work subtly at pulling you into her world. A superbly, executed and accomplished debut album that has already set the bar high for electronic albums this year.
