How am I supposed to let go of a love I was never meant to feel?
A seed that can’t sprout, no roots, no leaves, it’s surreal.
I’m trying, or so I keep telling myself,
Separating my heart from my mind,  don't know what's real.
Spirals in my head, a race that never stops,
Crescendos, crashes, then falls,  right from the top.
Like a fog bathes a dim light, it hangs in the air,
Lingering, soaking, like I’m still there.
