Singing since she was 7, music has always been a part of her life, long before she considered herself an artist. As a member of the Beverly Hills High School Minnesingers, a national award-winning choir, Miriam developed a love for performing and a curiosity to study all genres of music. At the age 23, Miriam began studying voice privately with opera powerhouse Vladimir Chernov, and at age 24, she landed her first commercial spot for BMW. 

Influenced by Donny Hathaway, Amy Winehouse, India Arie, Stevie Wonder and Etta James, Miriam makes soul-stiring music that's raw, edgy and honest.
