Vaporwave has been around for at least ten years, as the first musical genre born on the internet, and never ceases to arouse interest and attract fans.
This song is a tribute to the sounds that made the genre captivating, sexy, with a slowed down style that emulates the samples of 80s and 90s soul/funk songs. In this case there are no samples, but this is the only "rule "that I transgressed. 
On Bandcamp you'll find an alternate version as well, recorded "at normal speed" to persist in the illusion that there is an original song from which the sample was taken :-)

“House is the religion and the DJ is my god”. There isn’t any better way to describe the theme of this album than Roland Clark did in his classic speech that was released in 2003. For this track I wanted to go for a delicate and simple, yet powerful and big sound that would capture the religious and euphoric feelings House gives to people. To me this song is a spiritual experience, starting slowly and softly building up to a culmination of euphoria in the end. This is the soundtrack of a club turning into a church.

When Jamie Jones and Nicole Moudaber first collaborated on Hot Creations in 2020 with ‘Pepper Shake’, the result was a record that became an instant fixture in DJ sets worldwide for a seemingly never-ending list of names.
