In 1990 Little River Band did some shows in Australia and we had Warren Zevon as our special guest. Warren had a fantastic leap he did during his part of the show and I asked him would he teach it to me. He said he was taught the leap by Peter Buck of REM and would be glad to teach me. (This could be the Rock version of the Folk tradition of passing along old tunes).
When Frank Howson sent me the lyric to Playing Warren Zevon I told him the story and said we have to put 'He taught me how to leap' in the lyric. Listen for it in the middle the song. (2.18)
There is a great shot of Warren and me leaping together. I'm not sure who took it but I'm very grateful to have it. I have fond memories of the gigs with Warren. 
I hope you all enjoy the song.
