Koni Dee est tombé sur RUN DMC / AEROSMITH - Walk this way en 87et depuis 97 il écoute du Rap. En 99 il achète son 1er disque vinyle. Il peaufine sa culture HH entre ses cours à la fac. Entre 2002 et 2006 il anime Strictly Hip Hop sur radios TSF 98, Phénix et Pulse. A partir de 2007 il anime SHH en direct uniquement sur TSF 98. 2008 est un tournant : Koni Dee commence à mixer. En 2014 il organise ses 1ères soirées Caen i kick it ?! 2015 est l'avènement avec l'organisation du 1er End Of the Weak à Caen en janvier, et la 13ème saison de l'émission Strictly Hip Hop sur TSF98, animée jusqu'en 2018 où il décide d'aller poser ses valises à Radio Bazarnaom jusqu'en 2021. Depuis novembre 2021 l'émission le zedou est sur radio Tou'Caen et rediffusée sur La station B.
