NewSoul started Deejaying in 2009 with some friends who were also aspiring to become Professional DJs in his area. The Passion and Love for music is literally in his Genes due to his Father being a DJ back in his days. Coming from a family who Loves Jazz music has exposed him to the many different sounds of instruments from the Piano to the Guitar and Saxophone. These positive influences lead him to become a Deep House Deejay.

NewSoul started out by playing at House Parties and Private Parties/Events while he was still on school. He started off playing on Virtual DJ for a few years then moved on to Controllers and all ranges of Pioneer equipment as well as some experience with Vinyl, Honing his smooth Beat Matching and Transition skills. His Craft was inspired by many Producers/Deejays such as Da Capo, Chymamusique, Dino Michael, One Foot In The Groove and Soul Revolution.

NewSoul play's a variety of Genres such as Deep House, Soulful House, Deep Tech, Afro House, Underground and Old School HipHop. He also has a National Degree in Audio Engineering which is aspiring him to the Production side of life. His Mission and Goal is to produce his own Material as well as Remixes with live instruments/artists and incorporate them into his live sets. 

NewSoul has played at alot of Events such as Fresh Revolutions, SnapdBack, Knocked Out and Sizzled. He has shared the stage with many Deejays from Cape Town and Johannesburg such as Miss CJ, Byron Coe, Defenders Of The Deep, One Foot In The Groove, DJ Eazy, DJ Switch. He has also Featured on GoodHopeFM with Dino Michael's The Godfather's House where he played an exclusive 1hour set on the Guest Mix.
