The Chainsmokers' classic remixes are one of the things that got me into dance music, and I've always loved their remix of Trying to Be Cool by Phoenix. To keep that nostalgia but also celebrate the return to normal life, I created some DIY stems of Trying To Be Cool, The Spins, The Thrill, and Stronger, and voilà, this "F*ck! I Miss the 2000's" Edit was born. Few things are better than partying to music we loved in elementary and middle school!

The mix will start off slow as it will need to warm you up to get started for what the rest of the mix consists of, so be prepared for some SPEED!

Weeks and months of getting on discord calls to go over crates, test edits, reevaluate the entire mix and change the intro or sections multiple times. 

This is one of those mixes I never thought I'd work on: the type where we keep changing it until it is absolute perfection (in the way that we kept making it better and better somehow!!), personally im NOT a perfectionist but more ideas kept drawing towards us so we had to keep tweaking! 

it has been such a blast working on this with Alex/HOTL!NE and we are happy to finally be releasing this big mix for yall <3
