Scene legends like Roni Size, J Magik & Wickaman, Friction, DJ SS, Twisted Individual, Crissy Criss, Tantrum Desire, ShockOne and
Youngman have all graced this imprint, and you’ll consistently find the Technique name at the top of genre charts and smashing clubs worldwide. It’s no surprise that this label has assembled a sufficiently heavyweight back catalogue to fill a forty-three track LP with remastered classics and exclusive VIP selections.
Time for a Retrospective.
This album takes you in every direction, covering all wavelengths of the drum and bass spectrum. Drumsound and Bassline Smith, along with their alter-ego 2DB, provide an extensive selection of the tracklisting, backed up by their label’s current international soldiers and a selection of those heavy-hitters who’ve graced the imprint over the years.
So, in the midst of the bombardment from the label bosses, Tantrum Desire pop up with their big-room killers, Crissy Criss & Youngman drop in to grime things up a touch, and Dub Foundation flip things into half-step style. And, to show this is a truly worldwide movement, there are contributions from Ukraine’s MaxNRG, Slovakia’s L Plus, and a couple of combos hailing from down under, Skyver & D Jon and Spectrem & Spillage.
All this and choice cuts from Roni Size, DJ SS, Twisted Individual, Digital, J Majik & Wickaman, plus an appearance from TeeBee on remix duties. No wonder the Technique brand continues to raise its status.
Over the years, and their hundred releases, Drumsound and Bassline Smith’s Technique Recordings have proven themselves to be a monumental institution in the drum and bass scene. Aetherial, who hails from the Netherlands, teams up with Soul Deep to drop his new Liquid sounds.  His sound has been making waves for the last couple of years, and those fans of Atmospheric, Liquid Drum & Bass are taking notice.  The Cosmosphere EP kicks off with the title track, which is a journey into Amen chopping, Liquid bliss.  The tune begins with soft lunar pads, intelligent strings, and echoing vocals.  When the drop hits, the chopped up Amen pattern kicks in and shuffles on top of the rolling 808 style bassline.  The haunting vocals drift in and out of the track, leaving the listener wanting more.  The second track, “Until Then”, sets the mood with its reverse pads, melancholic pianos, and echoing fx.  At the first drop, the soft atmospheric are met with snappy drums, deep baseline, and epic vocals that perfectly accentuate the mood of the track.  “Cold Skies”, is up next and delivers another atmospheric gem which features stunning pads, filtering efx, popping drums, and a rumbling sub bassline that will awaken the soul.  “After the Rain”, finishes things off in impressive fashion with its chirping arpeggiated keys, deep sub bassline, and ticking drums.  Aetherial presents another impressive set of timeless Liquid Drum & Bass anthems that pay homage to some the other early atmospheric artists, while pushing the sound to new heights.

Will Keen aka Keeno is a Bristol-based composer and producer specialising in his own blend of Orchestral Drum & Bass. He started touring globally in 2013 at some of the world's most famous clubs and festivals with his emotionally charged, musical and uplifting sets. Most recently, Keeno has been making waves with his new live show combining Live Piano + String Quartet with Drum & Bass.

Keeno's music captured the attention of Hospital Records in 2014, where he was signed at the age of 19. All 4 of his studio albums reached the top 25 in the Official Dance Albums Charts. He has gathered over 100 million streams and collaborated with Etherwood, Whiney,  Unglued, and DRS and remixed Sultan + Shepard, Above & Beyond, S.P.Y, Fred V & Grafix and Maduk.

In 2022, Keeno went on to found his own record label: Keeno Music pioneering Orchestral DnB. It launched with the immersive Courage EP, a UKF On Air set in the mountains of Andorra and his 1 Year Of Keeno Music Album featuring the co-writing talents of Makoto, In:Most, Diandra Faye & more. He’s the only artist in the world pushing this sound right now. Keeno Music's events have also been growing in popularity with 12 sold-out events in a row focussing on LIVE Orchestral Drum & Bass. Keeno’s one of a kind.

Keeno's "Nocturne" was the start screen theme for "Forza Horizons 2" and his music was included in all game sequels to the present day. Other sync clients include Jaguar, The Crew Motorfest and many more.
