Another track made deep during lockdown.  Rhode is a vocalist we've been aware of for some time, and the gorgeous fragility of her vocal just hit us in an extremely powerful way.  The second she laid the first demo on this track, we just knew.  

Haunting, intimate, but expressing all three of our souls at the time of lockdown.   A time when none of us knew what was going on, how things were going to pan out and just what it all meant for us all.  Even thinking back to it now, it was possibly the strangest time any of us have lived through.

This one we've been dying for you all to hear.

UK Drum and Bass geniuses Sigma are about to drop their latest track “Rudeboy”.   

Already playlisted by 1Xtra, the single features vocals from South London rapper and singer DOCTOR who has worked with some of the top tier of international dance producers such as DJ Chuckie, Gregor Salto, Chase & Status and Plastician. 

The track’s classic Jungle/D&B sound won strong support from 1Xtra’s MistaJam. An early champion of the track, he made “Rudeboy” his Jam Hot record of the week (w/c November 4th). DJ Friction gave the single its debut play as the ‘Friction Fire’ on his show on Radio 1.  Another early supporter was chart star Example who declared his love for the track on Twitter.

Posted on leading DnB channel UKF, the official video – a gritty, hard-hitting dramatization of everyday heroics – has already had over 100 thousand views. 

“Rudeboy” follows on from “Summer Calling”, Sigma’s first release with 3 Beat and the track that propelled them into the spotlight. “Summer Calling” spent two weeks at Number 1 on the Music Week Urban Club Chart and reached number 5 in the Beatport chart.  It’s had close to 229,000 views on UKF and has racked up another 127,000 views on Liquicity. 

An integral part of the DnB scene, Sigma (aka Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie) have rapidly been gaining a reputation for their eclectic style of dance floor beats. Their track “All Blue” is the most downloaded song of all time on drum and bass arena. They’ve collaborated with artists such as DJ Fresh, Rusko and remixed Stylo G, Ellie Goulding, Eric Prydz, Groove Armada, Skepta and Sway.

‘Half Life’ is a reminder back to the massive dancefloor damage caused by ‘Ice Hands’, ‘Ghosts’ and ‘Xylo’ last year. Its gritty split of siren calls and deep bouncing bass hits in all the right places. Krakota's musical edge shows in ‘Elastic’ with funk flare and horns hailing. ‘North Winds’ and ‘Turn of Fate’ blend arcade style synth work with crackles of white noise.

A consistently brilliant producer, Krakota’s carved out his own style over the past few years getting his name noticed on dancefloors around the UK and Europe. He's received support from the likes of BBC Radio 1's Friction and well remembered for his tear out live mix on BBC Radio 1Xtra's Soundclash in 2015. His solitary stance in the drum & bass world has been making waves and that’s sure to continue with his outstanding debut album ‘Strange System’.

Good Times, Bad Times and Honesty heralds the minimalistic, sonically charged sound which epitomises their discography whilst dipping into newer territories. The Viennese outfit create a fresh, enticing arpeggio with Good Times, Bad Times, moving out on strung harmonies and bolstered with punching drums. Will Keen aka Keeno is a Bristol-based composer and producer specialising in his own blend of Orchestral Drum & Bass. He started touring globally in 2013 at some of the world's most famous clubs and festivals with his emotionally charged, musical and uplifting sets. Most recently, Keeno has been making waves with his new live show combining Live Piano + String Quartet with Drum & Bass.

Keeno's music captured the attention of Hospital Records in 2014, where he was signed at the age of 19. All 4 of his studio albums reached the top 25 in the Official Dance Albums Charts.
