Opeyemi Afolabi, popularly known as HPBeatz is a pianist, music
producer, arranger and talent Manager. He has his foundation deeply rooted in Classical, Contemporary and Afrobeats Music. He is a bridge to both worlds, attracting audiences from the older and younger generations.

He is a classically trained pianist who graduated from the Muson School of Music. He furthered his studies in Computer Science at Hallmark University. He was exposed to music technology tools and adopted his interest in music production with tools like FLStudio, Studio One, MuseScore and Dorico. He has won various piano competitions in
Nigeria among them are the Cathedral Talent Hunt Competition, Lagos State Secondary Competition, Shell Choral Competition and Muson Music Quest. He emerged as a finalist in all. He also holds a Grade 8 piano certificate from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) UK, Linkedin Audio and Music Production First Career Certification and Music Business Academy for Africa Certification.

HPBeatz has collaborated with numerous events, organizations, and artists across Nigeria. His performances as a piano accompanist and soloist include appearances with the Muson Choir and Muson Symphony Orchestra in operas, piano concertos, and oratorios. As a music producer and arranger, he has contributed to projects for the Ace Orchestra, Loveworld Orchestra, Beekay Eva (Orchestration), and Deremi Someone to Love (Single). Notably, he did the orchestration for Chike’s Live performance “If You No Love” at the 2021 Headies.

HPBeatz is an arranger for the Believer’s Love World Orchestra and the co-founder of Iyalaya Entertainment Inc., a 360 Independent Record Label and Management Company. His experience spans three years in professional music arrangement, production, and composition, focusing on composition, ensemble arrangement, orchestration and beat-making.
