STRIKA1 also known as BOOGZ DOGG HASTINGS Is a rapper that is based in Australia but born in Hastings New Zealand raised in Maraenui Napier. His diverse sound with in music has really led him to be a artist that has a all rounder taste of different styles with in the Hip hop genre. Some people say he has a similarity style an tone of Xzibit but he likes to believe he has broaden his style an tone to break that so called comparison.
His Maori background is something he really embraces an would like to see other Maori people do the same with the talent that they have knowing that Maori people have a very good background of music an also to see the MONGREL MOB do the same as he says "I've been around alot of brothers with in the MOB an have witness a whole lot of musical talent that it makes me wonder why they haven't made it like some of these so called artist have".
