Who is Beyond Me? Time will tell; their past provides a telling prologue. 


The Band consists of a group of young musicians some of whom have played together since high school. 


Beyond Me is not the band you may have heard in 2009 immediately before The Flaming Lips at City Stages in Birmingham, nor is it the band to which you may have rocked at City Hall in Nashville in 2008.


Beyond Me is composed of a group of ever evolving, talented, energetic musicians whose life-long dedication to music sprang from their individual and collective passion for this inimitable art form. The travails of their arduous journey have culminated in the production of a musical expression that resonates and leaves an indelible imprint. 


Beyond Me easily could have chosen to be a pop band receiving immediate but shallow gratification. Instead, the Band was initially heavy metal, but the members came to realize through grueling live performances that the message they wanted to convey needed to emanate from a broader sound that contained insightful melodies and lyrics. 


Currently Beyond Me is in the process of releasing two singles from what will ultimately be their presently untitled debut album. These singles give you the immediate ability to feel the contrast of the captivating and intense music this talented group is writing and recording. 


With perseverance and dedication as the Band's guiding principles, Beyond Me has evolved exponentially. The result is the creation of a refreshing new sound that is contagious. 


One constant has always been the integrity of their music. 


Beyond Me has grown and benefited from taking time to engage in reflection, self analysis and to learn from musicians they admire. This has permitted the Band to develop and compose music as impactful as their original goal.
