Tyler George describes his unique experience while attending the 2023 Burning Man Festival in Colorado.  He describes how a significant number of participants survived the dramatic rainfall that happened during the 2023 festival.  He also talks about how the annual theme affects him.

I have many new opportunities while living near Portland, Oregon. I’m facilitating a group called Climate Change & Environmental Justice Task Force for the Southminster Presbyterian Church in Beaverton, Oregon. At the same time, I’ve been elected the Vice Chair of the Green Team at Willamette View, a retirement community of some 500 people. 

I have traveled internationally since the early 2000’s. I had a brief hiatus, but, now have started again. My latest foray was to Kansas & Florida, two places that are very different than Oregon, socially, politically, geographically, and otherwise. But I appreciated this experience and will share them on Sound Cloud.
