Lo-fi bedroom tunes. Recorded 52 one-take songs in 2016.

Drawn to London from various British towns that no one's ever heard of, Simon, Murray and Luke formed a 3 piece alt/post punk band. Driven by an aversion to everyday life they created the twisted wonky band known as Denise.

Independently unpolished band who like to be happy.  Unintentionally retro. Effortlessly uncool.

We'd describe ourselves as unpolished with dashes of introspection, cynicism, irony & humour. Tom Robinson describes us as ‘optimistic jangle fuzz merchants’.

We're very pleased to have had lots of radio play & positive feedback from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Introducing East Midlands, Radio Caroline & Exile FM Radio amongst others. We’ve also been chosen several times as a Fresh On The Net 'Fresh Fave'.

Despite being quite a reclusive band with modest ambitions - we like our music to be heard outside of our own heads!

Né de la rencontre de Ben (guitare) ,Geiss (basse) (tous deux membres fondateurs du groupe Avignonais the Log) et de Mika (batterie), Le groupe Absinth Drip officiera dans un premier temps sous forme d’un power trio musclé et planant aux influences variées allant de Radiohead à Rage Against The Machine, en passant par Led Zep et Jimi Hendrix.
C’est en 2015 autour d’une cuvée de chasse spleen que les trois compères rencontrent Thom (ex chanteur de Baikal) et décident de l’intégrer au groupe et ainsi élargir le spectre des influences et des sonorités. ( The Doors, Tool, )
Le quatuor buveur d’absinthe a du rock n roll qui coule dans ses veines et vous le donnera dans un subtil mélange de gros riffs biens groovy, de mélodies envoutantes et d’ un soupçon de poésie qui parle au corp et l’esprit.
