New album 'Oh Hedonism' OUT NOW and on tour!

Between dream and reality, between intimacy and alienation, between gray mining towns and a society fat on digital carbs. Digital Carbs are a rock band from Munich, Germany that fuses elements of psychedelic, indie and progressive rock to create their unique sound. 

Their latest single 'Win Some, Lose Some' sees the group blending hypnotic psychedelic indie with a dusty Western edge, featuring sparse grooves, shimmering reverberant guitars, and an atmosphere that pulls you deep in. The verses evoke a sense of dissociation - from one’s own life, from societal pressures, from reality itself. Then comes the chorus, with its quietly resigned warmth, like an embrace you’re hesitant to accept but somehow need. 'Up and Away' is a collaboration with the Berlin based Atomic Fruit, and is a mesmerizing blend of dissonance and beauty, with some trumpets and fuzz bass on the side. While 'Head in the Clouds'  mixes the familiar “carbsian” dystopia with radical surrealism. Is it daydreaming or an escape from reality when the fish fly toward the sun and the groundhogs bury you alive? Abysses on all sides, but at least with a good view of glowing billboards. Initially beautifully adorned, the musical canvases are soon torn apart in madness. It remains a back-and-forth, both emotionally and compositionally, which has become something of a trademark for the group.
