The follow up EP to Yellow Claw’s epic Jeffree’s debut, Amsterdam Twerk Music cleans up your definition of “dirty” just so they can strip it down to booty claps and bass rolls. The first track, “DJ Turn It Up” is a subtle dance floor anthem reminiscent of the heavy bass from your nostalgic middle school days of grinding to timeless hip-hop anthems.

On the second track, Yellow Claw teams up with Tropkillaz and The Kemist to bring us “Assets,” a track that twists its vocals in a way that winds through the most bass-hungry, whimsical quarter of your imagination. “P*$$YRICH feat. Adje” then transports you deeper into Yellow Claw’s bass dungeon, leaving its victims up against the walls bumping and grinding till sunrise.

Amsterdam Twerk Music concludes with “Slow Down”, an addictive baseline paired with a jock-jams reminiscent hook. Yellow Claw are the tastemakers of guilty pleasure. But lets be honest… there’s no guilt attached to the obsession.

"keerd is fascinated by how music influences the environment around us - how it sets the scene and tells a story that reflects the writer's emotions or experiences in unique ways. With the California Bay Area native's background in sound design, he has been perfecting his craft in electronic music for over a decade. This multi-genre producer strives to tell stories through his music and mixes, taking the listener on a kinetic yet spacious journey with his original sounds and movements. He is a founding member of Inquiry Collective where he handles all things graphic-related and manages their record label, @Inquiry-Records.
'I felt it would be appropriate to re|flect back on some of my favorite productions in the last few years, so I prepared a mostly original set. It goes through DnB, Breaks, UK Garage, and a little Ambient/Dubsteppy stuff. I haven't done many all or mostly original sets, but am very happy with how this came out. The Reptilian Chronicles #8 w/ Grrr (Threads*ARDECHE) - 13-Nov-19

Lithuanian upstart Zakmina returns to Roam Recordings with two new stunning originals backed by ace remixes from Donald Dust and Roam alum Fabrizio Mammarella. The title track,Viral News, is a pulsating 80s infused thriller that builds with driving energy. Caroline takes it a bit deeper with its intricate synth work while keeping it big and moving. Up first on remix duty is Donald Dust who reworks the title track into freestyle territory with its rhythmic play of the original's 80s vibe. Rounding out the EP is Fabrizio Mammarella's psychedelic acid take on Caroline that has early morning warehouse written all over it.

Closed this with some of my favorite deep tunes. Open air with epic desert views, one of my favorite scenes of amazing people. Sunlight on our faces. One of my favorite sound systems. And one of the most blissful creations from humans, music. Words couldn't begin to describe how much joy and love I've felt from these beautiful songs. About 1/3 of them are mine and my gratitude goes out to the rest of the producers.

Luke Mandala | Sunlight Set | FMG Dec/2019

I was honored to be given the last full moon set / sunrise set of the decade for our lovely full moon community in southern California. During this set, it was dark for about an hour and light for about an hour. I hope the recording conveys the transition from dark to light as well as it did on the dancefloor. Thank you everyone for nearly a decade of full moons. This was a really retrospective set for me, and I'm just really grateful for this life we live.
