Music has always played an important role in Jahmana's life.
At the age of 12 he teached himself play instruments such
as piano , drums and guitar.
This was also the time he went to the music academy,
where he mastered how to play the saxophone.
At the age of 14 he developed an interest for hip-hop music and the art of lyricism.
He made some underground tracks.

But at the age of 18 jahmana connected back with his roots.
While learning more about his african culture(Rwanda),
Jahmana developed a strong intressed in carribean- and african music.
After some soul searching he ended up with a large library of cd's ,mp3's , dubplates, singles and lp's.
While exploring new music everyday he soon fell in love with the art of mixing, juggling and producing.
That's when he started to make mixtapes.

After some practice he started his first performances warming up at some local parties.


From 2012 - 2013 Jahmana joined the "Radio pumpum"dj team on urgent fm .
Dj Jahmana & MC Binwah played every 4th monday of the month on Radio Pumpum ( urgent.fm 105.3 ) from 22u00-23u00.

Talking about performance, Jahmana's musical choice, and mixing skills make him unique and different to a lot of dj's out there.
He's known for mixing the best classics with brand new tracks.spiced up with some own productions and edits here and there.
From 70-140 bpm he will rock any type of crowd without compromising his own style and rave your party with funky beats, tremblin' basslines, , exotic vocals and screamin' airhorn.
With his energetic style he will put the dancefloor on fire and keep the party going till the early morning.
