Born in Charleston, SC raised in the small town of Moco, Kris The Bella was exposed to many different styles and genres of music. This is a factor that greatly influenced her music style, voice, and runs. Kris began writing music and lyrics in middle school as a form of expression. As a quiet outcast she began to write music because it gave her a feeling of voice in a world that didn't seem to listen. She felt that her lyrics could express more of her feelings than she ever could and uses her music as her voice today.
Kris The Bella is an open book when it comes to her songwriting, making sure that each song tells a story. She is influenced by artist Jhene Aiko, Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, and Chrisette Michele. With admiration for the way that their music connects with real emotions, Kris aspires to do the same with her music, reaching the hearts of many.
Kris The Bella's signature runs, use of imagery, and wide vocal range are factors that make her music sound and style unique from all others. With a voice varying from second soprano to alto, she leaves a sense of mystery in each song, leaving listeners wondering what sound they will get, but pleased by each outcome.
