Had the huge pleasure of making my Berlin debut at @club-gretchen - what a session!

Massive thanks to the @deviatemate crew for having me and to everyone who locked in - the energy was next level from start to finish.

Paris-based DJ and producer Von Riu delivers the latest entry in the Minirig mix series - a heady trip through the outer edges of contemporary club music. A Rinse France resident and founder of the emerging label Glo.bal (following his co-founding role at Jerry Horny), Von Riu’s sets splice tribal-tinged tech house, slithering breakbeats, low-end pressure and flickers of psychedelia into something both unpredictable and deeply physical. With a global tour history spanning Boiler Room Paris, Kodefervo raves in Rio, and dancefloors from Shenzhen to Berlin, his sound balances tension and release with an uncompromising sense of direction.

It was a big honour to play again at the Fusion Festival this year. Big up Jah Chalice Soundsystem and Dandelion Soundsystem for the heavy bass, Amando and Yugo Taguchi for their lyrics on the mic at the end of the session and the whole Rootsbase crew for the organization. Thanks to all the beautiful people who skanked and shared such nice vibes on the dancefloor. It is a real pleasure to play for you.
