Had the huge pleasure of making my Berlin debut at @club-gretchen - what a session!

Massive thanks to the @deviatemate crew for having me and to everyone who locked in - the energy was next level from start to finish.

k.o - deviate w/ Method One @ Club Gretchen, Berlin

O hai!

Born and bred in Poland, where the Sun rarely shines and stolen German cars are most often found, I have been into and around drum & bass for quite a while, though my record collection expands into many different directions and genres. Yet, as the English language allows for the pun to follow, I like to emphasize that it all started from scratch :P Indeed, turntablism was the thing that drew me behind the decks and after all these years I still like to make use of what I've learned so far. However, as far as drum & bass is concerned, there are virtually no limits to what I play (with the small exclusion of the style embodied by McDonald’s most representative figure :P ). Also, I'm 1/2 of atmoteka - a series of atmospheric drum & bass mixes recorded by some of the most prominent producers and DJs who have made - and continue to make - significant contributions to the atmospheric side of drum & bass.

A bass event series launched in 2018 by Berlin based DJ Sammy B with the concept to depart from accepted "normalisms"  in the breakbeat dance scene. The goal is to promote less known producers and DJ's, under-rated artists, FLINTA artists, and encourage diverse genre pushing sets without discrimination.

DrumObsession (est. 2006) is a bass music collective, the longest running DNB night in Poland (based in Poznań) and a weekly radio show on Bassdrive.com (Tuesdays 1800-2000 CET / 1700-1900 UK / 1200-1400 ET).
