Technokunst - a Budapest-based collective of like-minded artists - is continuing its series of podcasts, showcasing some of the best talent of the multifaceted genre we call Techno.

We are dropping our first podcast of 2023 with a bomb set recorded directly for release through the Technokunst channels by the Italian genius, Ness. 
The Sardinian-born, now Bulgaria-based DJ and producer has been sonic-researching into the deep, hypnotic and cinematic aspect of Techno since the early 2000s, launched the "The Gods Planet" label together with Claudio PRC and is now solely managing it. Ness brings his vision of Techno in a palette of tracks comprising one hour of listening material. Enjoy!

Junya Yamamura, who began his career in New York, is currently active in various venues of the Tokyo underground scene while also presenting his own party called lift that is organizing with sound engineer Ryosuke Tsuchiya. Playing deep and sophisticated style techno with a fresh sensibility, Junya's sets are gaining recognition among Tokyo clubbers deeply proud of their underground music scene. He is being noticed as a new DJ leading the next generation.

Mahmood aka MAH MOOD, an emerging young talent based in Haifa, has immersed himself in his professional DJ career in recent years. Drawn to an array of musical genres and particularly intrigued by hypnotic, mental techno and percussive old school house, Mahmood chose to delve deeper into the electronic music realm, especially after being exposed to the local nightlife scene when he moved out of his hometown, Akko.

Balancing the traditional values of his community with his identity as a queer Palestinian individual living in Israel’s current climate, Mahmood's artistic exploration is both dynamic and thought-provoking. His debut gig, held just two years ago, showcased a captivating and experimental approach that continues to define his performances to this day.
His trajectory reflects a commitment to pushing boundaries and crafting an immersive sonic experience for his listeners.
