Shadows In The Groove

OMGG went a little crazy even to consider reproducing this iconic Beatles tune ✨. But with deep respect for the original, the band thought it could be special to bring back that unforgettable feeling of the Beatles’ first landing in the U-S-A 🇺🇸🇬🇧.

🎛️ From the engineer’s corner: The sound was deliberately designed to be like stepping into a time machine. Instead of chasing today’s polish, the recording was made close to live, with limited fidelity, vintage-style mic placement, tube preamps, and period-inspired gear at First Cut Studio, New York. Every choice was about recreating the vibe of the 1960s — not imitating perfection, but chasing that raw excitement.

🎤 Mira, who opened the song, laughed about her experience: “I was having such a tough time with the high notes (haha) but yeah, well… you tell me if I qualified? 😊 Anyway, we love the Beatles and we love you. That’s all we do — we want to make music for you and sacrifice whatever we can.”

The result is OMGG’s way of saluting a classic, and hopefully carrying some of that early magic to a new generation 🌟.

The chorus cuts through with power, repeating the demand for clarity: no more in and out, no more games, choose love or let go. Emotion builds verse by verse, from vulnerability to anger to determination, moving like a storm that finally clears the air. Between choruses, space and silence echo the hesitation, before the plea rises again with even greater urgency and force. By the third verse, resolve begins to replace doubt, the voice no longer begging but insisting it is time to stop playing. The last chorus hits harder than the rest, as the question becomes undeniable: either stay or go, no more half-measures in love. This is a song that many will recognize, because everyone has felt the sting of someone who cannot decide to be present. “In and Out” is not just a song—it is a declaration that love must be steady, true, and chosen without hesitation.

True Blue Horizon - Australia" have been sent to a new set of judges who have taken on the challenge of making that next very difficult choice. Although it makes for a long process, we do this so that fresh ears, and an even broader range of music industry professionals, get to hear your work.
