The idea for the animated video : 

starts in a concrete building with not much in room with a female joker/clown character putting on makeup and clothes and has a pet dog/wolf sitting waiting, the world is in grey and everyone looks the same and are acting out repetitive motions. She puts on her shoes and strokes the pet, who gives her a look of concern as they leave to the city streets,

When the beat hits it's her walking along sad nodding her head to beat and walking like a march to the beat, almost dragging her hands and feet, with the pet following her behind. The pet is trying to lift her spirits and is essential in pushing her forward. The first high voice would be the pet singing to her, it sings in a side to side head moving motion whilst walking to the rhythm of the beat and has its eyes closed singing up to her.  I imagine the pet to be a somewhat cute character that is white with bright blue markings, 

Someone in color is seen being dragged away briefly before she is pushed by the pet through a huge bush into a forest area and arrives at a lake looking down at her reflection, this is where the female starts to sing while her reflection changes and distorts, flashing images of her younger/happier and colorful self, the pet splashes the water.

Them when the beat starts again the pet is now leading in front singing more loudly, lighting and guiding the way and showing her a different path into the forest where she meets odd but friendly colorful creatures/monsters that bring her back to life piece by piece and slowly sheds her grey clothes and removes her makeup and starts to gain bits of color, but they drain and leave her again once she gets to the end of the road in the forest and sets her eyes back on the grey city, all the creatures disappear behind her minus her pet. 

She runs back into the forest and kneels on the floor and starts to cry (sing) but with positive energy in the air, she slowly starts to flourish into a wild spectacle of color and life and with now a skip in her step along to the tempo of the beat she rallies up the banished creatures of the forest who helped her regain her color and leads them to the city.

They create a wave of color and freedom on the way back into the city, flowers, and trees coming back to life and people are now breaking free of the repetitive movements they were stuck in a seemingly endless loop for. People are seen slowly slipping off to find something new to do and the story fades with the main character in full color looking happy and beautiful with her faithful companion and new friends following her into the grey city to continue lighting up others on the way.
