Downing and Glenn Tipton, has been adopted by many bands. Their image of leather, spikes, and other taboo articles of clothing were widely influential during the glam metal era of the 1980s. Their 1980 album, British Steel, has been referred to as the "record that, more than any other, codified what we mean by "heavy metal". Despite a decline in exposure during the mid 1990s, the band has once again seen a resurgence, including worldwide tours, being inaugural inductees into the VH1 Rock Honors in 2005, receiving a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2010, and their songs featured in video games such as Guitar Hero and the Rock Band series.

Now this one is special because of it's sheer difficulty and inhuman high notes. I didn't really think I could nail all of them but I did. But, no matter how high are the notes, curious enough the Dio songs give me even more work yet.

I did absolutely all the vocals. The only thing I used from Judas Priest was the original instrumental downloaded from here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_py_-g-p3t4.

I played a little more with reverb and echoes in a few parts to enrich the overall aspect of the result because everything was really extremely low-fi.

I recommend you to download the song instead of streaming it to avoid Soundcloud compression, if you can. And please, crank to full volume.

Mixed with Garageband and all voices were recorded with my webcam.
