MUSIC BIO FOR DR. WALLY J. BARTFAY
Dr. Wally Bartfay is a retired Professor and former Associate Dean (August, 2024) for the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.  He was also affectionately known as the “Rock N’ Prof” by his students because he often played original songs that he has written prior to the commence of lectures to create certain vibes and buzzes in his classes. His music has appeared on Euro Indie Music Chart lists top 5; World Indie Music Chart lists top 2; BWNR music list top 5, and the US Top 20 Show- Weekly Pulse of Music at No. 18.  In 2024, Wally had 3 No. 1 Indie hits as collaborations with Stephen Wrench on the Euro Indie Network Music Chart list and World Indie Music Chart lists entitled: 1. You're My Beautiful; 2. Little Sunshine Gal, and 3. Cherry Hill Gal. Stephen has been a 6x Grammy Awardee and has won over 50 Gold and Platinum records throughout his career journey that spans 5 decades now. 
I have been invited to appear on several radio stations, music podcasts, YouTube music channels and interviews with music magazines during the past year.  Examples include B-line Entertainment; Phil Kratz Radio Show; Blackdog Indie Country Radio; James Cox Show; Empowerment Divas Network; The Anything Goes Podcast with Duzzy Clayton; Curtis Johnson Music Podcase; Kayden Gordon Show- Today’s Best Country Mix; Radio interview on the Jeff Rickett Show, Country KIX 96.5 FM; Paul Mash TV; Playin’ On Music Row with Fran, and an interview with Fanbase Music Magazine to name but a few.
Ever since Wally was a little lad, he wanted to play the electric guitar and make music that creates smiles on people’s faces. He can remember playing his imaginary electric "air guitar" in his parents’ basement to various rock and country songs for hours on end. He got his first guitar when he turned 14 after taking on various odds jobs including pumping gas on weekends and cutting lawns.  He quickly learned to play it on his very own, along with several other instruments. Wally has also done research related to the benefits of music therapy as a nonpharmacological intervention with patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.  He got interested in researching the clinical benefits of music as medicine after his father was diagnosed with vascular dementia following a series of strokes that left him bed bound in a nursing home.  Ironically, this is the same nursing home that he used to put on volunteer Christmas concerts for during his youth in his community. He is passionate about song writing and his songs often reflect personal experiences and challenges that he has faced over the years. Each song contains components of his genuine lived experiences, heart, and soul as an artist.

 His passion for analog electronic music led him to create his own independent music label, "|K_Er_M|" founded in March 2023. 
The label's goal is to create a trademark for a certain type of musical product, offering an alternative to the mainstream scene. 
His music has been appreciated by attracting the attention of an ever wider audience. 
Originally from Modena, Raised in a city notoriously fertile for the electronic scene, he developed his passion for music from a young age. 
In the 00s, he was influenced by the techno music renaissance, which led him to experiment with electronic machines and music production software. 
The result of his experimentation are innovative sounds and rhythms that blend the sound synthesis of techno music with old-school influences, creating a deep and engaging electronic atmosphere.
Kekko Er Malizia has become known for his predilection for self-production, of which he has become a real master. 
Over the years she has perfected her techniques and creative skills, developing her own personal style. 
With an underground flavor, 
Kekko Er Malizia's music represents the essence of electronic techno music, creating a strong connection between the soul of the city, its culture and its people, becoming an integral part of the provincial underground musical family.
