Breaking into the scene in 2018, Armenian artist Socko has made great strides as a DJ playing for the majority of clubs and events in Armenia and Georgia, becoming very popular in his motherland. Opening his production account in 2019 on Pipe and Pochet, Socko is now signed to several influential labels including Behrouz’ Do Not Sit, Shango and down.

Opening with two tracks featuring Romanian artist IV-IN, ‘Queen Is An Eagle’ a low-slung, nu-disco vibe saunters with bluesy vocals. Rubber band guitar licks and sleazy keys provide musical asides as the track gathers momentum midway before an oasis of a break and chunky conclusion.

Next up ‘Ghost is Not Human’ continues apace with nuanced guitars forming the low end, and moody keys punctuating the sombre male vocals. Organ lines midway add energy and interest. Finally, with the vocal talents of D’Litte, the EP draws to a close with ‘Red Wet Dress’. Ticking clock percussion and sweet vocals juxtapose in the most delightful way as a disturbing mutated siren signals the introduction of bass and tension. A thoroughly classy and creatively complex debut for an artist on the cusp of worldwide notoriety.

For the 23rd EP on Heimlich Musik, Franz Matthews collaborates with label veteran Johannes Klingebiel and Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist Semodi, delivering two original mixes accompanied with remixes by Random Atlas and Balam. 

"Signs“ is the result of a spontaneous collaboration between Franz Matthews and Johannes Klingebiel which started after a few drinks and builds on instrumental recordings. A powerful bassline and melancholic pads are used to reflect the message of the vocals to welcome the unexpected signs of life in a positive way. 
Evolving from a long-lasting friendship with Semodi, "Law of Attraction“ is an enchanting arrangement carried by a subtle guitar and vocals about rewiring your own behavioral patterns for a more fulfilling existence. 

Chilean duo Random Atlas pick up the bassline and main theme of "Signs“ in their remix while their powerful signature disco sound is magnified by the use of additional drum elements, analog synth lines, and electric guitars.
Balam recreates "Law of Attraction“ as an ecstatic club track based on hypnotic drums while keeping the spirit of the original, rounding up the EP as a whole.

Mit seiner aktuellen EP „Sektdusche“ schließt der Berliner Produzent ACUD an sein „Verbrennungsmotor“-Release aus dem Jahr Jahr 2018 an. Erneut veröffentlicht er auf dem von ihm geführten Label „KELLER“. Im Titeltrack singt ACUD wie gewohnt wenige Zeilen, die mit Heiterkeit zur Ekstase treiben. So lebt auch der zweite Track „Bisaltez“ von einer enormen Energie bei erneut langsamen Tempo. ACUD’s „Sektdusche“ ist eine Ep, die nach vorne geht und weniger anschmiegsam sein möchte. Ergänzt werden die Originale mit zwei Remixes von MAX JONES und UNDO.

The Berlin producer ACUD follows up on its 2018 release of “Verbrennungsmotor” with its current EP “Sektdusche”. He is releasing again on the "KELLER" label he runs. As usual, ACUD sings a few lines that cheerfully drive the revelers to ecstasy. So the second track "Bisaltez" lives from enormous energy at again a slow tempo. ACUD's "Sektdusche" is an Ep whose songs go directly forward and want to be less cuddly. The originals are supplemented with two remixes by MAX JONES and UNDO.

The 25th EP on Heimlich Musik titled ‘Where The Rainbow Ends‘ is a powerful contribution by Barcelona-based artist Agle consisting of two original mixes and remixes by Theus Mago, Rigopolar and Hanzo & Yaman. 
Both original mixes draw on analog synthesizers and dramatic samples to create a dark cinematic atmosphere that appears even disturbing at some point. Like a fight between light and darkness, the title track combines industrial elements and Agle’s 
characteristic 80s aesthetics. ‘Vultures Circle‘ is a trippy journey evoking the feeling of being lost in a David Lynch movie lead by a mighty acid bassline. 
While keeping the cinematic vibe, Theus Mago adds some extra weirdness on his remix. On the other side of the spectrum, Rigopolar’s dark disco interpretation is clearly made for ecstatic moments. 
Based between Istanbul and Vienna, Hanzo & Yaman transform the original into a stoic march giving your belly a proper dance.
