'Noema’s record label The Magic Movement revisits Xique-Xique's debut album 'Na Lagoa' with new remixes by Oliver Koletzki, Zoe Reijue, Nutia, Psilosamples, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Niko Schwind, Batu Ozer plus a collaborative rework by Mira and Christopher Schwarzwalder.

Xique-Xique dropped their downtempo and trippy 'Na Lagoa' album via The Magic Movement in 2021 and this release features dance floor friendly reworks of its most popular tracks.

Niko Schwind is based in Berlin and a regular on labels including A Tribe Called Kotori and Stil Vor Talent. His remix of the album's title track "Na Lagoa" adds additional synths and an arpeggio melody to create a more melodic version of the original.'

Reigniting the flame some five years after it's gone dormant, Stil vor Talent sub-division Light My Fire rises from the dead with 'Celestial Bodies', a limpid, floor-busting of a two-tracker coming courtesy of label boss Oliver Koletzki and core element Niko Schwind. As per usual with these two, one can rely on their unmatched ability at crafting electro-techno gems bound to have booties shaking and hearts melting in unison. 

Take 'Venus' and its straightforward groove, adorned with a lush palette of EBM-inflected bass manoeuvres and arena-sized momentum, this one finds Koletzki and Schwind delivering the kind of spine-tingling wind one can expect from only best-in-the-game big-room operators. A feast of synth-laced nostalgia and cross-dimensional floor dynamics, all set at running the hoodoo down till euphoric abandon ensues. A breaksy counterpoint to its more prog-minded predecessor, 'Neptun' fires off wave after wave of raw, syncopated drum swagger with an Italo spin, coating it with a thick glaze of luminous keys evocative of barren extra-terrestrial moonscapes and other uncharted territories beyond our vision and knowledge. Coming out Koletzki and Schwind's spaceship radio, a human voice clad in a vocodized envelope calls from light years apart, a peaceful cry out the great void's unfathomable heart. The next chapter in Light My Fire's rebirth is a promise and a confirmation at once.

Premiere: Oliver Koletzki, Niko Schwind - Neptun - Light My Fire

Spanish musician currently living in Copenhagen. At 5 years old he started to study violin and from then on his interest on music increased day by day, opening his mind for another styles out of classical music but without leaving the violin aside. Influence of his classical studies in Alvaro’s music is huge, giving big importance to melodic elements on his tracks and Dj sets. The idea to make a link between classical and electronic music has been always on him so he supports his sets playing live violin.

Alongside Christian Rütz they have developed Sansui (www.facebook.com/sansuiofficial), a live set performance where analogic equipments (synths, drum machines and effects) get together with the violin.

He is also co-manager of Casetta Records (www.facebook.com/casettarecords) a Spanish record label in between Madrid (Spain), Berlin (Germany) and Copenhagen (Denmark) which is the perfect space for sounds focused on the dancefloor.

As the final piece of her 25th anniversary, DJ Isis is now presenting her new project ‘Isis & Mozes’ to the world. Their debut EP 'OSTARA' is released April 12th, 2018 at KROOKS Records. OSTARA is the outcome of an intensive collaboration with her new studio partner Mozes.

On OSTARA, Isis & Mozes worked with different musicians, instrumentalists, and vocalists. These are the key ingredients that formed the basis for the compositions made by @isismozes. In addition to the electronic parts of the compositions, Isis & Mozes used different types of instruments featuring Mozes on guitar and Isis on vocals.

Besides their own compositions, one of the tracks on OSTARA is produced in collaboration with colleague-producer and dj: @tripjag. In addition, the producers-trio @yorkultura made a hefty remix of their track Aerial for the EP. More info on the EP: www.krooks-records.com/album/isismozes-ostara
