Sie sind Labelchefs, Visionäre, DJ - Partner, aber vor allem sind sie Freunde. Es gibt wohl kaum ein DJ-Team, welches so bestrebt Seite an Seite ihren Träumen nacheifert wie die beiden Mecklenburger. 
Auf Ibiza kam ihnen 2008 der Gedanke sich einen langersehnten Traum zu erfüllen. In einer schwierigen Zeit für Plattenlabels wuchs Damm Records schnell zu einem aufstrebenden Unternehmen. Heute zählen Deich Records, M.M.A.D Records sowie Patro de Musica zur Damm Records Familie und Glanz & Ledwa können auf weit mehr als 70 Releases zurück blicken die unter ihrer Betreuung entstanden sind. Viele erfolgreiche Acts stehen heute an ihrer Seite und leben mit ihnen den Traum der sympatischen Ostkannen.
Ihr Stil ist geprägt von melodischen House Tunes bis Tech-Elementen die immer treibend daher kommen. Doch man kann nicht von einem definierten Glanz & Ledwa-Sound sprechen, denn sie lieben es ständig neue Elemente zu einem großen Ganzen zu vereinen und ständig für eine frische Ostbrise zu sorgen. Weltoffen und immer auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Moment eifern sie neuen Sounds und Einflüssen hinterher um den Leuten erfrischende Überraschungsmomente zu bereiten.

Und wenn wir bei Sprache sind, Musik ist, denke ich, für uns alle ein Sprachrohr, um die Themen anzusprechen, die uns berühren, ankotzen, morgens aufstehen lassen. Und natürlich kann Musik eine Stimmung erzeugen, die uns alle in Bewegung versetzt…

„Amygdala“ is Koze’s Sgt. Pepper. It’s an unreal 78-minute walk through Koze’s mind, complete with moods, intensities, sounds and scenes as yet unheard of. It feels more like a double album, urging you to turn over and change the records time and time again. "Amygdala" amazes by its sheer musicality, deepness, and its  ethereal sound design; it’s a kaleidoscope of a great variety of soundscapes where you keep discovering new nuances even after listening to it a thousand times. Nobody else could unite artists like Caribou and Dirk von Lotzow, Hildegard Knef and Mathew Dear, Ada and Milosh in such an organic way and on one and the same record as Koze did. There’s never been anything like it.

He weaves new garments around the a capella parts of his guests, garments that only he can tailor, and that’s how the album, for all the diversity of its artists, sounds consistently homogeneous and in the true style of Kosi Kos. It’s all about “the courage to dare”, about letting voices resonate undisguised in all their authentic peculiarity.  About creating  truthfulness.

How much can you cut out, when does the flame die down? On the other hand, under which circumstances could it even burn for ever?

The album, which in large parts has been composed in a Spanish fishing village, starts off with Balinese gamelan sounds from which a relaxed discoid bass peels off, caressed by mystic backwards basslines, balafon resonances and slide guitar chords. You can hear the ceaseless chirping, twittering and cheeping from all the treetops of Koze's exotic jungle.

For years Robosonic have been building a reputation as DJs for murdering dancefloors worldwide – not only playing what they really feel, but also performing their own multidimensional electronic music. Together with the Adana Twins from Hamburg they made a hot new EP on 2DIY4.

The first track is made up of melodic disco and funk inspired tunes and easy basslines which immediately bring you to the vibe of summer. The lovely Vocal adds further feelings of recklessness and freedom which will immediately get you to dance.
