Born in South Dallas, Texas and raised in the heart of West Oakland, California, Kurpt Nation is more than just a music brand—it’s the voice of survival, transformation, and authenticity. Our founder grew up in rough neighborhoods where struggle was the norm and survival was the first lesson. Surrounded by hustlers, pimps, gangsters, drug dealers and users, he was exposed early to the harsh realities of life, but also to raw honesty, resilience, and a certain poetry in pain.

Even after relocating to Stockton, California—another city with its own mix of challenges and characters—the lessons continued. From these environments, he absorbed the sounds, the stories, and the spirit of the streets, translating them into music that’s honest, gritty, and emotionally real. Kurpt Nation exists to channel those experiences into powerful, genre-blending music, engineering, and production that reflects both the darkness and the light of where we come from.
