Rob Green is possibly one of the most insanely inventive underground dance music producers in history...

The young DJ / producer was something of a maverick in the mid 1990’s on the immensely popular Jackpot Records imprint. Having had a string of successful releases under several monikers, Rob Green aka Shango, attracted attention across the music industry, jamming out classy progressive house tunes for labels such as Virgin and Sony, DJ’ing in clubs such as ‘The Hacienda’ and ‘Club UK’ and achieving tens-of-thousands of record sales in the process.

Rob is now one half of the synth-pop act The Department, who love the 80's, have amazing songs and are turning heads...

His DJ style is very progressive in technical terms as he merges Techno, Progressive , Tech house in his own unique way.
