Hyperkaine - (Joshua Penn) has got more mixing experience up his sleeve than a wooden spoon. Before even being allowed to step in a club he was learning to mix and mash on vinyl. Time and taste may have changed but 9 years on the passion still lives on and with his name on most event posters around town it’s hard to miss him! With a unique mixing style picked up over the years Hyperkaine can mix any music handed to him allowing his sets to be a blend of bass driven Dubstep, High Pitch Dutch, filthy, filthy electro and much more his set are described as high energy, driving, hype or “like a drug”. 
He is quickly becoming one of H-Towns regular dj’s and a name in New Zealand also, his name is on more and more gig poster you can see stuck in windows all around town. Soundscape, Summer Vines to Cheap Thrills in Auckland, you name it Hyperkaine has been there and done that. He is one of the few guys around here that can keep a dance-floor interested and understands the art of entertaining over simply playing songs one after the other.
