Cannonball

Singer, songwriter and ex-winemaker, Kelly was born and bred amongst vineyards in South Australia's Riverland region. Blessed with an unassuming soulful, gritty voice, her soulful folk/roots/alt-country songs have seen her win national awards and captivate audiences from street corners to major festivals worldwide. 

On stage Kelly performs in whatever format is most appropriate for the show - most commonly solo with her acoustic guitar or as a duo (with accordion, keys or guitar), trio (with accordion and cajon) or as a 4-8 piece (with bass, electric guitar, drums, brass and violin).

In late 2016, Kelly was invited to Austin TX work on some unfinished songs by legendary American gospel songwriter, Albert E. Brumley, famous for his song "I'll Fly Away".

Festival and support highlights include WOMADelaide, Woodford Folk Festival, Americana Festival (Nashville), Queenscliff Music Festival, supporting Archie Roach, Steve Poltz, Anne McCue and sharing the stage with Paul Kelly at the iconic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
