Gandhabba live mix - THE HIVE II: Rise of the Leprechaun (Australia - Perth)

My mix from a private park event in Eagan, Minnesota! I was invited to play by DJ Spree & Squiggles <3 

It was a beautiful day in the park, and I played the last set at sunset following some wonderful bounce, house and trance sets. I put a lot of thought into creating a flow that would resonate with that audience, by combining some of the most melodic and groovy hitech I know of. The audience was way more receptive than I anticipated and we were all vibing to hitech through sunset until 9:55 when the park ranger rolled up and I had to end the last track a little abruptly :) 

A big thank you to DJ Spree for being such a kind and patient DJing mentor -- I have only practically played on Traktor + my Traktor controller, but Spree helped me export my tracks for Rekordbox and got me set up to play with a USB on his CDJ3000s for the first time!

Kelsifer - Hitech DJ Set - Live at Phantasma 001 // Hypnotic Ritual Records

My mix from Sacred Earth Open-Air 2023! It was my absolute honor to be able to play at my 11th consecutive year of attending my favorite festival, Sacred Earth Open-Air. 

This set was my first festival set ever! At 4am-6am at the Woods Stage, as the conclusion to an incredible high bpm darkpsy Saturday night with Skuzzo and Znataraja. 

I wanted this set to be the perfect segway from Znataraja's 200bpm psycore set to Ronin's 150bpm darkpsy set that would start at 6am. 

Things didn't go as planned, and there are many imperfections in this mix due to me continuously hitting my cross-fader with my chest, because it was at a different height than I was used to as well as a general nervousness because of my first time playing a festival. Oh well, you live and you learn :) Because there was some volume issues as a result of this, I did go through and do some minor mastering to fix the volume on a few small sections where my chest knocked the cross-fader.

Kelsifer - Hitech Darkpsy DJ Set Recorded Live @ Sacred Earth Open-Air 2023

One of my most favorite sets I've played so far! 

I was on the beach on the southernmost point of the world's largest body of freshwater, Lake Superior.

My time slot was at 1am and the atmosphere was perfect for my music. It was foggy which blocked out the stars and cast us in pure darkness. The wind relentlessly whipped around us from all directions, and the tumultuous waves crashed endlessly into the beach just 20 feet away from where I played. 

When the sun rose the next day and I was finally able to see the water, it looked bloody and red from the clay that fills the bottom of the lake. It was absolutely beautiful! 

This set is dedicated to Lake Superior, and her unwavering power and beauty. Thank you for allowing us to share vibrations on your shore.
