Confusion presents his first 12 track album on their own Raserei imprint with an extended catalogue of club tools, breaks and three complementing remixes. “Crypto” sets the tone of the release with typical moving bleeps while the title track “Too Late” continues with highly effective drums and synth work. Getting deeper into the album, the sharp drums of “Escape” mark the impact of this collection and “Eleven” turns the vibe to far-reaching perspectives with a spaced-out pad. “Full Mess” completes the original work with mental closing emotions and another IDM-ish break version. Three highly effective remix rollers by LYRIC, Hedström & Pflug and Recursion complete the album.

For our second entry, I am delighted to introduce you to Lucas Bergen & JAMIE. This duo of DJs/producers have been playing together for one and a half years. Their inherited curiosity for making music marked the beginning of their journey. As they continued to dig and collect gems, this curiosity evolved into a burning passion for DJing and producing. With influences from Guy McAffer, Selective Response, Dax J, Hadone, and Eric Sneo, their style has evolved into a unique “Futuristic Hardgroove,” bringing the old and new school together into perfect synergy. Their mixing style features trancy, tribalistic, and hypnotic sounds, plus creative layering of rolling percussions through the constant use of four decks.

With the release of their first EP on the Los Angeles-based label “Crisis of Man” and their tracks being supported by the likes of Daria Kolosova, Grace Dahl, SPFDJ, Francois X, and many more, this duo is set to take the scene by storm in the near future. Personally, I would describe them as real gem diggers with a strong work ethic.
