Rio 2 Soundtrack - Track 14 - What Is Love by Janelle Monáe, Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg

Pocas son las canciones que logran cambiar mi estado de ánimo y llenarme de tanta alegría como lo hace You're my Zing, ["Ya hicimos click" en la versión latina] de verdad no consigo expresar lo feliz que me hace escuchar esta canción una y otra vez, a pesar de que ni si quiera es un tema completo, que no tiene una realización oficial, y que no es parte de ninguna composición existente, es solo la escena final de la película Hotel Transylvania, pero indiscutiblemente se convirtió en una de mis canciones favoritas al instante y en la que más he escuchado últimamente, no me canso de oírla, es demasiado pegadiza, divertida y transmite sentimientos muy bonitos, su letra aunque fue hecha para causar gracia, dice cosas muy lindas en verdad.  

Intenté limpiarla, resamplearla, hacer mi propia instrumental guiándome de sus bases, intenté hacer de todo, pero mis esfuerzos fueron inútiles, incluso en la versión DVD, el audio viene lleno de efectos de sonido, folley, gritos y porras de los monstruos, hasta las letras no son restaurables, pues parecen haber sido fusionadas con la pista musical y aunque remueva el canal siempre conserva un eco autotune y arruina mi composición. Es muy frustrante, habría amado hacerle un instrumental para dedicarle después un digno Fan-Cover… 

En fin, para no quedarme sin hacer nada, decidí regrabarla, quitarle los diálogos, realzarla ecualizándola mejor y mixeándola consigo misma para generar una versión un poco más larga, y aunque originalmente era una creación propia hecha exclusivamente para llevar en mi iPod, acabo de disponer compartirla con todos ustedes, yo sé que muchos la estuvieron buscando completa desde el estreno de la película, así que confío en que más de alguien apreciará esta versión "extended".
