Oh wow, it's number 10 already! Today's guest: ZeitlupenUwe, localizing himself "somewhere between slow motion techno and down tempo house" thereby asserting to be "free of talent but creative" - sounds good to us! ZeitlupenUwe just got on board of the Clap your Hands family, where he found the tender family he needs to be creative, carrying him through the hard fairways of the Berlin electronic music scene. One act of creativeness (and of poring over statute books): After experiencing few party vacations and following complaints, he invented the pretty charming idea of „Open Air to go“, which became a story of success soon. Just in line with official regulations, saying everyone is allowed to operate a radio on public green spaces, as long as nobody feels disturbed by it, guests bring along their radios, directly receiving the music a DJ is playing on site. Nice manoeuvre! Nice podcast! Nice guy! Thank you, ZeitlupenUwe!

Records to get hold of this bomb, which is taken from their new compilation, 'Square Pegs, Round Holes: 5 Years of SNATCH!', celebrating five years of the label. 

Snatch! Records is owned by inimitable Riva Starr, a man who has been crafting house gems for a long while now. The label is a trusted source of top quality house music and we're big fans here at Deep House London. The new comp is, as expected, full of great music from Riva himself and a whole host of talented musicians, including Pirupa, Santos, Lee Van Dowski, Whitesquare and many more.

Tuccillo's track represents his sound to the fullest; dance floor friendly with a tight groove that locks you right in from the very beginning. A wicked vocal sample to add that human element and a searing orchestral breakdown that adds high drama to the piece. Great stuff! Check it out via the streaming link below.

Das kann ein bestimmtes Ereignis sein, aber auch ein grundlegender Zustand wie etwa anhaltende Gesundheit oder finanzielle Absicherung. Next in the line of a celebratory summer for ‘Axtone Presents’, comes infamous French-house DJ and producer, Bob Sinclar. Being one of house music’s most influential artists, Bob first left his touch on Axwell and Axtone back in 2005, remixing Axwell’s summer anthem, ‘Watch The Sunrise’. MPathy, formerly known as I'm Fine, has developed a strong interest for electronic music when he was still very young. Growing up in the city of Berlin he was highly influenced by the electronic music scene in the 90’s. He spent a couple of years in Chicago and Shanghai where he got involved with the local electronic music scene, which ultimately shaped his outlook on electronic music today.

With Techno music and DJing being his greatest passion for a long time he started to work on his own productions in 2008. Since then he has produced Techno, Tech-House and Minimal music for various record labels worldwide.

In 2012 he joined the Berlin based Deep House Label Steyoyoke. He is responsible for the most successful Steyoyoke release in collab​oration with Antonio Olivieri, ‘If I Were Music’. The most original sound on Steyoyoke comes fully endorsed by DJ W!ld, Larsson, Dyed Soundorom, Aki Bergen and ONNO.

Proceeding with his new name he has done remixes for Soul Button, Florian Rietze and Sasch.

In the summer of 2013 MPathy makes his solo voice heard for the first time with an established and rousing first EP ‘I’m Yours’ for Steyoyoke, a collab​oration with the seductive vocals of the highly talented singer and songwriter Amy Capilari.

With so much more to come from this young artist, ‘Iʼm Yours’ is testament to the philosophy that drives MPathy forward. MPathy is eager to push off in his own direction to continue to challenge and provoke existing concepts of making unique and forward thinking music.

Their connection with the global electronic music movement has been channeled via highly influential outlets such as Desolat, VIVa, Saved and Fumakilla. Livio & Roby will be one of the many musical acts to see at the British 'High Definition' Festival, which takes place on 5 and 6 September. Just a few of the headliners are artists such as Luciano, Kerri Chandler, Nick Curly, Breach, Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss and Disciples.

Nottingham’s Cassio Kohl first burst onto the scene early in 2013 with his debut ‘Broken’ EP on Montreal / L.A. / London based Amadeus Records.

Cassio went on to release a follow up EP on Manuccis Mistress which received Radio One Xtra airplay and again the support of high profile DJ’s. By now his music was being heard in DJ mixes and clubs around Europe including Fabric, London and Space, Ibiza.

2014 saw the release of “Love Prescription”, a single track on a VA compilation signed to Music is Love Records and Cassio is now prepping his 3rd full EP, 'Let It Be Me' for Futureboogie. Cassio’s diverse yet always uplifting sound and his attention grabbing productions have resulted in gigs in Germany, Spain, Romania, Italy, Ukraine and all around the UK including Nottingham’s leading club Stealth.

Off 'Let It Be Me,' we exclusively premiere the EP's closer, ‘Come Together’. With swinging drums and hypnotizing bass, the track harks back to the original deep garage house sound. As chopped up vocals in a hip housin’ style and heaps of emotive melody are layered on top, it is reminiscent of the sterling productions of Ron Allen in the 1990s.
