The Kassel-based DJ and member of the „Dreiradfahrt“ Collective likes to combine the sounds of various genres reaching from Downtempo to Techno to create a soundscape that you can’t resist to dance to at all times.

🎶 Synkope presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr. 280 🎶

Sarah und Charlie begleiten uns nun schon seit einiger Zeit. Egal ob im Club (W***I lässt grüßen) oder in Form einer Aufnahme, begeistern tun uns die Beiden immer. Daher freuen wir uns ungemein, dass es nun endlich mit einem Podcast bei uns geklappt hat. 

Musikalisch lassen es die Beiden eher ruhiger angehen, läuten aber mit all der positiven und entspannten Energie im Mix den Frühling herbei. Dazu ein wenig Bounce und dreckige Disco Nuancen. Herrlich. Musik die immer geht und jetzt bereits einen zeitlosen Charakter inne trägt.

Natürlich haben wir die beiden zu einem kleinem Interview geladen, welches wir euch unter keinen Umständen enthalten möchten.

✔️ Was sind eure musikalischen Einflüsse? 

Unsere musikalischen Einflüsse sind breit gefächert und haben sich im Laufe der Zeit durch verschiedene Genres entwickelt. Wir begannen mit einer Vorliebe für Downtempo und basslastige Klängen. Dabei haben wir auch eine besondere Leidenschaft für Hardhouse und 'Bretter' entwickelt. UK Garage ist einfach auch ein tolles Genre, aber bisher ist es noch nicht in unseren Sets aufgetaucht. Ebenso hat uns Italo Disco mit seinem charakteristischen Sound und der nostalgischen Atmosphäre angesprochen. Doch zurzeit holen uns klebrige Breakbeats und Trance richtig ab. Unser Sound unterscheidet sich ganz klar von dem von Narciss, doch Künstler:innen wie they inspirieren uns durch deren Werke und haben einen starken Einfluss auf unsere Musik."


✔️ Was macht eurer Meinung nach her eine gute Afterhour aus? 

In unserer Meinung macht eine tolle Afterhour vor allem die Atmosphäre aus. Am liebsten genießen wir sie draußen im Sommer beim Sonnenaufgang, umgeben von den liebsten und anderen tollen Menschen. <3


✔️ Welche Gedanken magst du uns zu deinem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

Für diesen Mix wollten wir etwas aufnehmen, das etwas ruhiger und schöner ist als unsere bisherigen Sets. Hier ist eine Auswahl von Künstlerinnen, die wir bewundern. Wir hoffen, ihr habt Freude an dem Set! <33"

Sarah and Charlie have been with us for some time now. Whether in the club or in the form of a recording, the two of them inspire us immensely. That's why we're so pleased that we've finally got a podcast with them. 

Musically, the two of them take a quieter approach, but with all the positive and relaxed energy, some bounce and dirty disco touch in the mix, they ring in the spring. Marvellous. Music that actually always works and already has a timeless character.

Naturally, we invited the two of them for a short interview, which we don't want to withhold from you under any circumstances.

Berlin Hypnotic House XXV - Stop Club Mix II

Solvane and Seth Schwarz met for the first time in a plane to Tokyo where they played at the same venue (Circus Tokyo) on the same night (1st of november 2017). And they fell in love immediately. They decided to play a back-⁠to-⁠back set, even though they never heard each other before. It's funny, they played at the same festivals before (Burning Man, Feel, 3000 Grad...) but they never met. It was a lucky find in the plane and it's only the beginning of way more to come from these fellas.

Aufm Rummel gibts keine Karten mehr abzureißen, im Grand Hotel Buchtapest kann niemandem mehr die Koffer gereicht werden und die Zeitmaschine gen Dino-Tal wurde ebenfalls auf Standby geschaltet. Dieses Home-Office, das wollten wir jetzt ausprobieren und euch einen Podcast auf die Laptopscheibe schmieren! Zehn Mal bimmelts Mittwochs, so um Zwölfe rum. Hört rein und freut euch, dass eure Däumchen nun im Takte drehen können.

Mit einem Familienmitglied beginnen wir die zweite Hälfte unserer kleinen Podcastreihe! Genauer gesagt mit - Robin Dey - & einem besonderen mix, denn er wurde am 18.04.20 für den "safe-Rummelsbucht-stream" gespielt & aufgenommen. 
Durch alle Beteiligten konnten bei der Kampagne knapp 70.000€ an spenden gesammelt werden, die nun dem Club und den damit verbundenen Existenzen maßgeblich helfen, vorerst nicht unter gehen zu müssen. Seichtere Gewässer in Sicht, ahoi! Auch von uns nochmal ein rießengroßes Dankeschön für alles an alle - Und natürlich ganz viel Spaß beim Nachhören!
