A new release from Ken Ishii's own label, 70 Drums, comes up with a full-length music video directed by Akiko Yamamoto, a live painter from Japan. 

The EP includes an original mix that Ken has been testing and polishing for a long time, now complete, this EP has also incorporated perfected remixes by Hiroyuki Arakawa, the label boss of Spectra, one of the established techno labels in Japan, and Spain's PUSHMANN, a DJ who keeps releasing quality music on Axis, Symbolism, Be As One and so on. 

There is also a full-length music video and a 360 Reality Audio version of the original mix that will be released July 15. The 360 Reality Audio version is exclusively mixed with emerging audio technologies, for your 360 surround listening pleasure.

Field Records is to release a two-CD compilation of music from the label's artists old and new entitled simply, Collection. 

The first of three samplers features Acronym, Ben Buitendijk and Voiski. Acronym's track '16 Cygni' is a sci-fi bit of techno that is speedy, slick and intergalactic, whilst Ben Buitendijk offers up some Millsian, streamlined techno urgency with his 'Colourblind' and finally Voiski gets all elastic and industrial tinged with his whip lashing effort.

As Figure begins to move into the next chapter of its label history, label founder Len Faki has teamed up with young French talent Roman Poncet for the 54th release. Poncet's debut on the label dropped last year with the excellent 'Cerate' cutting a clear path for his precisely executed modern techno sound. 

Teaming up in the studio, Faki and Poncet have crafted 'Asua' - a mesmerising display of production skill and a testament to the duo's true understanding of hypnosis. Pushing from the start with its urgent bassline the track builds and morphs its intertwining elements, introducing subtle textures and suggestions of melody - a classic Figure late night ritual. 

Alongside, we have original tracks from both Len Faki and Roman themselves. Faki's thunderous and aptly titled 'Stripped' works his powerhouse percussion along with a textured dub-stab in this straight up club trip. 

Finally with 'Truck' Roman Poncet completes the EP, his rough synth stabs and metallic percussion driving this moody tension builder ever forward.

There have been a lot of whispers and rumours about Thom Yorke's Atoms for Peace project since the band formed in 2009 to play The Eraser live. In the new issue of Dazed & Confused, the fabled frontman clears up the speculation surrounding Amok, his first group album outside of Radiohead, with one of his most in-depth interviews to date. He also talks frankly about his life and work, discussing his uneasy relationship with fame, that video for "Lotus Flower" and why he's still intent on bending people's heads of out shape.
