Written in early September of 2017 - a month of storms and challenges, both global and personal.  Recorded as a duo with Ken on National steel guitar played with his bronze slide and his son, Ben Whiteley on string bass.  I hope we can all "rest awhile".

Ken Whiteley is a Canadian roots music legend, a multi award winning songwriter, performer and producer. His musical journey has taken him from jug band, folk and swing to blues, gospel and children's music.

Ken Whiteley & The Beulah Band (Frank Evans, Rosalyn Dennett & co-producer Ben Whiteley) are creating exciting new music that is deeply rooted in traditional North American folk forms. You’ll hear echoes of blues, gospel, swing, string and jug band sounds.

"Rosalyn Dennett is a violinist & singer/songwriter, mostly in that order. She plays as a solo performer, as well as being a member of the all-female Roots quartet Oh My Darling. Rosalyn's songs call out from the tallest branch of a lone prairie tree. Her lyrics are a poetic homage to her native flatlands, while the music pines for the Appalachian Mountains and rolling Atlantic waves. Her compositions have been played regularly on CBC and Campus Radio stations across Canada, and her album The Holler, with banjoist Allison de Groot, made the top five on Campus Radio Charts in 2011. As a member of Oh My Darling, Rosalyn has been nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Best Roots Album "Oh My Darling" and "Sweet Nostalgia" and has released 3 highly acclaimed full length albums that have all reached the top of the Roots/Folk charts across Canada and Europe. She has performed sold out shows across Europe and Canada including performing for Canada Day onTrafalgar Square in London, UK, Mainstage at the Winnipeg Folk Festival and Tønder Festival (DK), made her US debut performing with Oh My Darling at the Living Room in New York City.  Rosalyn has opened for Tegan & Sarah, and Blue Rodeo with the band Oh My Darling, shared the stage with Tim O'Brien, Dirk Powell, Le Vent du Nord and many more fine artists, and has given FIddle workshops for the European World Of Bluegrass Festival, The Maverick Festival(UK), and the Winnipeg Folk Festival."
