yes this is great work.  QUESTION IF I MAY BE SO BOLD: at what kbps freq (22, 44....198????)  do you record this in. is it downsampled?   developing software to better handle hi-fi music better along with software DAC for better user experience. Still too many artists not working in your 'soundspace' and I'm determined to define it as a standard rather than exception. 40+ years loving music only to watch end user experiences degrade rather than improve over the years.

I played this set on the 04.08.2018 at Radisson Blu, Roche Noires, Mauritius for The Lost Oracle by Secret Models. I put quite a bit of effort into the preparation of this set. Emotions are musically defined by melodies and harmonies, I knew I would be playing to younger crowd per say, a crowd which would be much more in touch with their emotions than the darker techno crowd of Mauritius to which I usually play. So this set is a careful selection of tracks to convey huge energies and emotions to lift you up to drive you forward! In anycase it works for me, hope it does for you too! <3

Vanessa is one of the rare Djanes on the electronic scene in Mauritius. She recently finished her DJ course & got noticed by local event managers for her explicit taste of techno music. She’s always there when big international acts perform in Mauritius, she featured on some supporting line ups; thus had the chance to see all those djs performing from the DJ booth and this leads to learning lots of things that could help her on the journey. Slowly but surely becoming one of the most appreciated DJ on the island.

Playing since November 2017, she was chosen to support all these amazing international acts, such as Khainz, Maksim Dark, Khen, Kohra, Kim Ann Foxman, Metodi Hristov, Carbon, Stiv Hey, Citizen Kain, Secret Cinema, Guy J and many more. She can easily adapt to any kind of party since she masters lots of styles ; deep & groovy music and also dark or detroit techno, combining analog warmth, massive driving beats & dark vocals. Definitely an act to watch!

Project Initiated by Supreet aka PsyreX, known for his psychedelic music stage presence. Exploring new age industrial & mechanical sounds over a period of time gave birth to this project. Floating between uplifting, progressive and minimal experimental elements, spc bar incorporates various sonic adventures from Supreet’s never ending expedition to pulsate through his sensitive choice of arrangements & sounds, indeed bringing up an intimate experience for the listeners.

The name spc bar, pronounced ‘spacebar,’ talks to this very experience that we all can relate to. This is the frame of mind in which Supreet likes to be when he creates and also the zone he endeavors to elevate his audiences into.

Starting his career off in 2018, Dark Design has cemented himself as one of the fastest growing artists in our scene. His sets have won him many a fan in the Burn, from rowdy sets at renegade warehouse parties to slaying a dance floor or two at some of the city's finest venues. He's also been on the studio grind, locking away a few originals to labels such as Techgnosis Records, Synaesthetics, Wulfpack Records and Digital Diamonds.

Ken Zo - Born in Mauritius

One of the leading DJs & Producers in Mauritius and pioneering local underground electronic music culture. With nearly 15 years of DJing under his belt, He has been involved in most of the bigger events in Mauritius, and was also co-organiser for events that hosted big names like Grouch, Breger, Evil Oil Man, Merkaba. He was also part of the organisation of E K T A Festival 2015, one of the first 3 day electronic music event hosted in Mauritius.

Usually known for his compositions with a defining take on Psytech, his DJ sets on the other hand exude versatility and he covers many genres from deep house to full on psychedelic trance with all genres in between.

In 2017, he was awarded the Backstage Award for Best DJ. 

He grew up surrounded by music. His mother was his first music teacher going over the basics of piano and singing. His parents enrolled him for violin classes at the age of 7 at the Conservatoire de Musique Francois Mitterrand where he also learnt music theory in french. At the age of 13 he moved on to the Conservatoire de Musique Frederic Chopin where he was trained in piano and music theory in English,

Simultaneously during his teen years, Fabrice experimented with many genres - pop, rock, rnb - and played in many amateur bands and orchestras playing guitar, violin and keys.

He started DJing and producing in 2007 under the alias Mr.Snob playing commercial and progressive house as well as an occasional techno set here and there. The beginning was mostly birthday parties and school fairs with very rare club gigs. His career started picking up around 2011 just when he flew off to Melbourne Australia for his studies. He performed throughout Australia under his knew alias Ken Zo, finding his place within the niche psychedelic community playing fusion sets of techno and psy.
